***************************************** The format uses the numbers next to the names in the editor. The numbers in quotation below the name are it's size And how you should make it on your map blueprint. IT will all make sense when you see the Example Map below ********** TILES ********** For a small examle of what each Tile should look like is this The space it occupies (blocks) Is represented by it's number EX: T Junction(6) (6) (6)(6) (6) Small Room(8) (8)(8) (8)(8) Adapter1(13) (13) (13) (13) ************************** Do you get it? i hope so.....if not AIM me (andyzoob) Moving on... A Small , One level Map would look like this (8)(8) (6) (8)(8)(1)(1)(6)(6) (6) (8)(8) (8)(8) Hope that cleared up any confusion about The format so far! When making Multi-level maps it takes a bit mor time My suggestion is you go Left to right Scanning one line at a time obviously this is the format that is the easiest to type Try to look at the mapbuilder as it's grid OK, For a Multi-Level Map you go from Bottom Most Layer Work your way up level by level , This way all you have to do is line up the levels...pretty simple. *** EX: *** LOWER LEVEL (11)(11) (11)(11) (1) (9)(9) (9)(9)(1)(12)(12)(12) (12)(12)(12) TOP LEVEL (11)(11) (11)(11) (9)(9) (9)(9) (12)(12)(12) (12)(12)(12) ************************ So far so good....that's about the end just follow my tips above Hope this clears up alot for people...and i want this to be big..so plz contribute :-) If you were wondering about Spawnpoints or Weapon locations....it dosent really matter... Put them wherever you feel they would be good....Make this catch on ...tell Everyone with TS2 |
